The Honda Dealership in Springdale Arkansas let me take a test ride. I went on one of the longest test rides in their history, 20 miles over an hour. Most of the elapsed time was getting out of dense traffic to a curvy back road. After a brief negotiation, I rode the motorcycle home.

I’ve just been using my wife’s Hemi powered WK2 and a trailer.

Agreed, short beds are only for those who daily drive their trucks and rarely use them for “truck” jobs.

Harbor Freight; Mostly crap with a few decent items for sale

Agree, no surprise at the speed. I’ve gotten to experience a production line cranking out less than 30 units a day for months to work out issues. At full speed, the line rate was 45+/hour.

Dogs that don’t lean and become drooling projectiles are a lot more fun.

Easy money says rust. Just look at how rotted out the rocker panels are in the second picture.

Optima was traded in last year for a Grand Cherokee Hemi. Great vehicle if you don’t care about fuel economy or reliability.

I had a stick shift Mazda 5 once. To date, it was my favorite car to own. Loved embarrassing sports cars in the turns. My wife and dog hated the car. Ended up trading it in for a Kia Optima... I no longer have any soul to lose to boring cars...

LOL, registering multiple fingers involves thinking ahead. Way to advanced for me ;-)

Fingerprints work great... until you burn/sand/cut/damage your fingerprints. There would need to be a back-up pin entry like the Ford or Subaru system.

I taught my dealer how to setup and use the PIN entry on my 2017 Outback. I also showed him how to access the service menu in the infotainment system.

Some people have all the bad luck in the world. I work with a guy who between him and his wife, they have totaled about one car per year for the last 10 years. Zero were their fault. They have the accident reports and witnesses to back them up.

Thank you Mr. Florida Man for proving once again, why the scale we use at work for how bad things are going ends in Florida.

Rented a car for a 3,000 mile road trip vacation. The “change oil” light came in withing the first couple hundred miles. Kept driving.

Meanwhile at GM, when confronted with a similar problem, they just eliminated the door and called it a cost save.

I remember watching Danica in the Champ car feeder series back in the early 2000's. Good, but not great. I was confused when she got picked to move up in racing. She needed another season or two to develop.

I went without a car for one year. It is very weird. Similar story too, wife (and dog) hated my car so I traded it in to get her a newer one. Later sold her old one to pay off the newer car.

Thanks for this article. It reminded me to get off my ass and get back into the garage so I can finish making a toy box for an upcoming baby shower. Then I need to tear apart the front end of a 1990 Honda Fourtrax so I can figure out what parts I need to order to make it steer and stop (runs and drives great). Maybe
