The company I work for built hybrid school buses back in 2008. It used a motor/generator mounted in the middle of the driveline. The company that designed the hybrid system failed and was no longer able to support the buses in the field. I believe some of the buses had the hybrid components removed due to service

Diesel because it is less flammable than gasoline.

You mean it isn’t normal for a car to sound like a tractor?

Neutral: I think he will only succeed with eliminating/rolling back CAFE. Best he can hope to do with emissions is freeze the US standards where they are today or delay the next round or stricter emissions.

I used to be like you. Third time I got hit by a car, I decided to join the cage drivers.

You speak the truth! You NEED more stars!

What kind of tires were on the police car? If your officer was rolling on summer tires or worn all seasons, he may have had a completely different perception of the conditions.

That’s around $400 markup, including labor! There are some very nice brake light flasher modules out there for under $40.

What state? In Oklahoma, crossing a single white line is only considered hazardous, not illegal. I avoid lane changes on solid whites because of the inherent danger. I looked this up about a year ago because we have a rotary in Tulsa that has a lot of solid white lines in it. I had a near miss from someone trying

My thoughts exactly.

Strange... I only get odd noises when I have passengers in my car. I learned very early that the proper way to back-up is to look out the rear window and focus on an object in the direction I want to go. Because of this, I find it faster and more efficient to back-up in certain situations than to turn around. Once

I don’t think he’s drunk. I think he tried drinking the grease/mud mixture in the steering box of his Jeep. No way he could afford alcohol after buying Jeep parts.

Recent events have forced me to put my weekend car into daily use. It isn’t anything special, a 2003 Subaru Outback. Because it went from my third transportation choice to my only option, first sign of real weakness it’s gone. I’m not talking about oil consumption, blown wheel bearings or anything minor that can be

Don’t buy that seafoam green 1994 Toyota Tercel. Not beacuse it was a very reliable car through high school and college, not because it turned out to be OK at lower levels of autocrossing, but because as soon as any woman sees you driving it, any chance you had for a date are GONE!

And a cheap Land Rover is the most expensive SUV you will ever own.

This. Had a Kia Optima once. Horn was beyond weak. Wife demanded I upgrade the horn, so I obliged.

I fully agree with his. I test drove a BRZ and loved it. I don’t make enough money to have a second weekend only car so it would need to be my daily driver. My test drive was enough to tell me I couldn’t live with it as a daily driver.

Had a Jeep Cherokee do something similar. Took the cluster out, checked/cleaned all the connections but still didn’t get it to stop. Finally got angry at it, started kicking random stuff under the dash, while it was partially taken apart with the vehicle running to see if my fiddling was working. All the gauges

I has a 2001 Saturn SL1 that did the same thing. Not very frequent though, but always when the car was running. Never got used to getting out at a stop light to close the trunk.

The check engine light on my 2003 Subaru Outback. The code says I have a misfire on two cylinders. Sometimes the light flashes at me, indicating I have a severe misfire. Strangely, even when flashing, my 0-60 time is always the same and the car runs smooth. I just call it the phantom misfire since everything
