I always thought Kanan was Disney’s take on Rahm after the canon cleansing. Looking at the character design, there are so many visual similarities as well as both being blind.

I like the show, but kill it off in a movie like Infinity War. Like 10 minutes of exposition and screen time on SHIELD trying to help but failing. Something. Anything. Give the fans that stuck around a little something. Just a little payoff will do.
