But you went to school right? I think that’s the main point of most people on here. I want him to enjoy his pro gaming career but please get an education to prep for after the career is done!
I always wondered about aging out of things like this. I mean, wouldn’t it be weird seeing a 40+yr old guy or gal playing in an MTG tournament with younger players?
Life is a journey. I agree. But it’s my job as a parent to prepare them for the rest of their life. So for me, it’s education. What else am I suppose to push them toward? It’s not a guarantee they will be successful after they finish (college, technical school, etc.), but at least their chance are much higher.
Understood. That’s why I said college or technical school. Not everyone is cut out for one or the other. Heck. Join the military.

I agree. But of all the special/legendary editions I’ve bought in the last decade, I realize all I have to do is wait a few months for the price drop.
