Exactly. $100k is an easier proposition to stomach than European counterparts. That’s not even considering the value for performance of the E-Ray. For the sake of comparison, the CT5V Blackwing can easily crest over $100k and that’s and that’s a way older school car than the E-Ray. And they seem to be selling well. I

A lot more people have $100k to spend than $200k to spend. I know that sounds ridiculous, but we live in a world where there are 6-figure Jeeps and pickups are routinely 80k+. The Corvette was never a truly cheap car, but for what you’re getting, 100k is relatively affordable and is in a comparable market with other

I guess everyone’s got their particular taste, but I have to disagree here.  From the outside I think it’s quite nice looking.  The Silverado is awful looking, no disagreement there.  The Ram looks pretty sporty and modern.

This is the first electric truck I’d actually want to own. To each their own, but I find it both functional with features I'd actually use, and weirdly stylish.

This is easily the most interesting Jalopnik article of the year.

Hey Jalopnik! More articles like this.

Very interesting article. The craziest part to me is the price. at $30k, the low slow speed and ride quality might be excusable. But at $70k+, you’re competing with Teslas, Base Taycans, Mach-E GTs, and other very impressive cars

No, not cool. Gladiators are never cool. Unless they mounted an M134 minigun in the bed.

Admittedly, the Prettiest Prius ever is a very low bar, but yeah, I actually dig the looks of this thing.

They could keep the stickers and just give me the wheels and plates, really like the green. I’m partial to the Bronco Sport as it looks like a proper successor to my first generation Escape which was a really good all-around vehicle (the V6 was a bit thirsty, not bad but compared to its I4 peers, but it was also a

“Are these things just full of rich people now?”

You’ve been wrong. Hybrids have always been “reversed” in that respect.

It seems to me the issues with wet races and red flags are out getting out of control. The entire field started on inters, and then Sainz hydroplaned off and several other cars spun. I heard commentary about full wets being the correct tire for the conditions, but they were deemed “too slow” by the drivers...the same

I have been a regular grump in Jalop comments about EV range and charging blah blah, but damn that Kia could change my mind. Within a few blocks I have neighbors with the electric Porsche, Tesla and Kia EV6 and honestly the Kia is the best looking of the bunch.

I’ve seen more than a few Kia EV6s around town, and I think they’re good looking in person, too. If I wasn’t forever eliminating Kias from my life thanks to their shitstorm of a dealer network, I would definitely consider when I get to the point that I want to go electric.

The unsactioned gathering is what draws these folks in. This guy was just the worst offender becuase he killed two people.  Please tell me what “other points of view” I should examine about having modded cars drag race in the middle of a small town with a lot of pedestrian traffic.

I once owned a 928S because 911s were more expensive. Maintenance and repairs come with the territory. I’d take a chance on this example. I’m a sucker for a ragtop and it seems that most of the major stuff is done. The miles mean enjoyment without affecting its value too much. All in all, NP.

Look, I’m sure it’s great, like really great, but the issue with these bleeding-edge-of-technology things is how they hold up over time. I feel like this car will be a NIGHTMARE to own out of warranty

I can only think these will depreciate like free falling rocks due to the added complexity to get to what the old V8 could do. Soundbars? Electric motors and turbos? As someone that owned several German cars from all brands, including AMGs, Ms, etc., one thing I learned is Germans know shit about cars electrical
