are there $2,000 cars anymore?

$6500 for a clapped-out, half way rotted old truck with a mediocre aftermarket top.

had the kid not ran, it probably would’ve been a slap on the wrist. kids on dirtbikes and four wheelers terrorize traffic and pedestrians around me, and they can get fucked. I’ll wait until I see a video because I don’t trust the police’s word, but if the kid took off speeding down the road, it’s on him.

Is there any dashcam footage of this chase? I used to ride dirtbikes all over the small town i lived in, but I stuck to dirt roads, i did not ride on public streets with cars. Running from the Cops on an illegal dirt bike while not licensed is 100% the fault of the kid and his idiot parents for letting him do that.

The ticket says ‘rain or shine’ and officially a “race” was held so they don’t have to do anything. The F1 streaming offer is actually much more valuable than the “lottery” so that is a good idea. However, if they ever want any of those miserable customers to return, they should offer them a 50% off coupon for next

I used to be selected for jury duty every year or two and they’d bring me as far as they could without having to discount me from selection for seven years. Finally, in comments as to why I shouldn’t be selected for jury duty, I wrote that I go by my own code which may or may not coincide with the law written to

Quick little thought experiment where we swap Silverstone and Abu Dhabi. Lets imagine they were still tied for points going into Silverstone, and that pass that took out Verstappen still happened. Would it just be a 10s penalty, or would it have been much worse because more was at stake? That logic was applied at the

For a minute there I thought it was a new Lexus

All of the problems of an old Mercedes and all the problems of a stretched custom frame?

As a resident of a city where many, many car-jackings result in death to the victim, I believe you left out the very standard outcome: the armed car-jacker doesn’t get chased, dumps the car after totalling it, repeats the process over and over again (killing completely innocent victims along the way), and then

A windowless van is a pretty bad idea.

l got one of the good ones - 2007 G35S sedan (VQ35HR) with the 6-speed manual and rear active steer. I doubt I will ever let it go.

Just in time for the sedan’s swan song.. Who is this car for? Limo companies needing replacements for their 400k-mile Town Car fleets? Uber drivers?

exactly.. a small (by todays standards) 6 speed manual, lift/hatch back that will probably handle well, be good in the winter (especially with snow tires) and probably get decent MPGs. Seems like a solid daily driver w/a bit of fun on the side + Honda quality. Sounds good to me.

Everyone here gets so personal over what they think an “overpriced” car is. How about look up a few values first. Stickers aside, this is a great deal and probably already sold.

I hate riding a stationary bike. The joy is in being outside and seeing the world.  It’s sad that we have to make this choice - between life and joy.

So is this including sponsorships, branded merchandise (specific to the athlete not the team) as well as any ownership of any secondary teams? For that I’m surprised Valentino Rossi isn’t on at least the top 25 as he’s rumored with all those factors to be well north of $500-750M.

Big difference is that other sports don’t require a team of dozens of highly skilled professionals to support each player. Yeah, a pro golfer may have a coach and a physical therapist and such, but they don’t have a team of dozens of engineers devoted to improving their one-off golf club costing millions a piece.

And for accuracy:
