"When you can't change what's bothering you, one typical response is to convince yourself that it doesn't actually bother you. So couples often create a family myth about why they made these choices, why it has turned out for the best, and why they are still equal in their hearts even if they are not sharing the kind

And thus we see the only reason why "Gender in Games" was ever an issue in the first place. The money.

Bleh - what treacle. Neither of them are 'incredible' in their intelligence, and in many respect they are profoundly ignorant and simple-minded. Particularly Obama, who is so self-centered and narcissistic that he is intellectually incapable of grappling with people who have different opinions, ideas, or

That's a rocking picture of Devastator, that is.

Better than the "Everything Wrong With" movies by a long shot.

So... Is this article supposed to be "ironic" or hipster self-aware hypocrisy or something?

The graphic of the Widowmaker wearing skin-tight body latex with boots and shoulderpads kind of makes the Blizzard / Kotaku claims of ratcheting down the sexploitation rather hollow. And the Mercy character isn't any better

The argument that "Gamergate is broken. Give it up" is the argument of a coward and a bully. What you people are saying is, "I don't want to engage in a difficult, uncomfortable, nuanced discussion - so I'm just going to claim an entire group of people is wrong because of the actions of unrelated extremists. It's

Maybe if they played some good Euro board games like Cavern Farmers instead of Ameri-trash junk like Monopoly...

I admire the man's craftsmanship. That's some fine Legory there.

The point is that there is serious question as to the legitimacy of Sarkeesians' so-called victimhood. The 'abusers' may not actually exist. Claims she has made in the past have been fraudulent. Whether or not THIS particular case is real is called into question by her past behavior, which has broken her

That presumes Sarkeesian is a victim, when there is ample evidence from her behavior and words that she does what she does not because she is a victim because because she is making money on victimhood status.

That's the problem when you have little boys lying about wolves, or grown women lying about death threats.

Now playing

IF (heavy emphasis) the threat was legitimate then hopefully they catch whoever did it and throw the book at them. However, there is enough evidence based on her past behaviors that justifies doing a double-take on any story Sarkeesian coughs up.

I'm no fan of this self-aggrandizing SJW and her particular brand of bull. Of course any actual threats deserve prosecution, but she's been caught faking enough that she gets the "Boy Who Cried Wolf" and "Chicken Little" treatment from me when she opens her mouth.

Throwback Mountain Dew is good, but I like all the Throwbacks and I specifically buy my Coca Cola from CostCo so I can get cases of the Mexican bottled stuff that uses real sugar. I just prefer the sodas that do not have HFCS. For some reason the HFCS sodas taste 'sharper' while the real sugar ones like Mt. Dew

I wish they would bring back...

The "problem" (as I see it) is that there is a yawning gap between the so-called "gaming journalist" and their audience.

I'm supplying actual arguments. You're tossing ad hominems and no arguments. Your behavior marks you as the troll. Physician, heal thyself.

Ah - the ad hominems a person that lacks a cohesive argument. How rare and special it is... Since you appear unaware of writing conventions, I'll deign to educate...

There is just something viscerally appealing when you watch a person who truly is enjoying what they're doing. It doesn't matter what they're even doing. It just matters that they love it. This guy is a good example of that. He's just a guy sitting in a chair watching a 'partly' interactive movie, but he's just so

Yeah the people making threats are pinheads. Stooping to that kind of garbage means they're either troglodytes, or they're too stupid to make an intellectual argument. There is plenty of ways to dismember Sarkeesian's arguments without that sort of drivel.
