WWI is the only major war with its own holiday and all veterans from this war have passed away. Veterans Day is also mostly redundant with Memorial Day (and I say this as a combat veteran). Meanwhile the U.S. does not have a dedicated holiday for the most important duty a citizen should perform: voting.
