The fact they did Boba, Ashoka, Obi-Wan, and fucking CGI LUKE on D+ already told you they never will.

I cannot wait for our current MCU Wong to end up falling in love with his multiverse twin and soulmate, and the two of them having a baby together who oddly turns out to be very caucasian.
Hello, Internet Police? I’d like to report a Dad Joke.
Roland Emmerich: “Because naturally, Marvel and DC Comics and Star Wars have pretty much taken over. It’s ruining our industry a little bit, because nobody does anything original anymore.”
I am so excited for Moonfall because it looks like trash and that’s what we need. I have no idea where it’s going with the plot but please let the sequels be Pluto (the real reason scientists won’t call it a planet) and ultimately the Sun.
More curious to see Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill in Secret Invasion but that is fine, make me keep waiting, I’m sure it will be worth it
I certainly hope you’re right about that but all I’ve read so far centers on the producers’ hopes and dreams. With nothing definitive on the horizon, I can’t help remaining pessimistic.
They clearly hope that they can return in some form because the use of the word pause is very deliberate. They also mention that there are three more books to work with.
or Jack O’Neill from Stargate?
Anderton (John?) might be from Minority Report.
I don’t know how much cachet the producers/writers/whomever have, either, but - ending it here at season 6 works okay. It works way better than having s7 and either trying to do all three final books in one season or doing book 7 and then getting cancelled. I wonder if they want to make sure they’re guaranteed the full…
D. Quaid (Douglas?) could be from Total Recall.
Ackbar (Admiral?) from Star Wars
Bowman (Dave?) from 2001
Idaho (Duncan?) from Dune
Ripley (Ellen?) from Alien
O’Neill (Jerry?) space station proponent and inventor of the mass driver (rail gun technology)
Rico (Johnny?) from Starship Troopers
Ryker (Will?) from Star Trek
Thrace (Kara?) from Galactica
Looked like a cloud of cargo containers for cover as well.
From what I understand, the next story arc in the series jumps a couple of decades in the future. Between that and COVID shooting, I don’t blame the crew taking a break to reassess and wait it out.
No, they showed it in all its glory, Naomi guiding them in like a massive school of fish, and the utter chaos of it from Amos perspective as if he was airdropping into Normandy on D-Day.
Gods I really hope we get something that continues the Laconi part of the story from the books. Also, from an episode fillied with great moments, one of my favourite bits was the names of all the soldiers in Bobbie and Amos’s assault squads. I recognise many of them, but some... where is A Rogan/ H Ochiai etc from?:
What a great episode, and what a fantastic series!!!
I was hoping it would be 2 hours long. At least it got a bit more runtime than a normal episode.
It was a satisfying season finale, and probably THE greatest hard SF show ever made. However, I’m disappointed that the central mystery to the show—the protomolecule—was shoved to the background in favor of the Inaros drama. Indeed, “whatever happened to that protomolecule sample?” It’s just a throwaway line now?…
