You think you’re suffering? Agents of SHIELD doesn’t come back until summer 2020.

So Rey is a Palpatine, right? That’s the only explanation I can think of that isn’t incredibly stupid.
What with being terrible at endings ,I wonder will Abrams be able to pull one off with this film ? and the series ?
I wonder if it’s a budget thing and maybe Routh, with the most name recognition being Superman and all, has a higher pay scale. -- I have no proof of this. Just trying to figure a logical reason since he fits so well with the cast and show.
I suspect that payroll was becoming too expensive so it’s out with regulars and in with the lesser known, cheaper new folks.
Some some foolish fans are going after the writers for removing Ray and Nora. Does no one understand that Routh and Ford have a son back in LA? Filming in Vancouver is tough on them. This works out for everyone. I’m so glad Routh got his come back and I expect a lot more fun roles for him in the future.
Oh shit, I thought Brandon and Courtney were moving on; I didn’t know they’d been pushed out.
I came VERY close to putting Dredd at 1, but then I remember all the crucifixions, and was also worried Katharine Trendcosta would find me if I ranked Bones any lower.
This is a good list but it has reminded me just how salty I still am about Almost Human being canceled.
He’s the most criminally underused actor.
For me, he occupies that same part of space-time as Brendan Fraser - someone I love seeing in whatever he’s in, but just never (or has yet too in Urban’s case, I hope) break out into major stardom. Fantastic in Xena, great as McCoy in Re-Trek, perfection in Dredd and, slightly dodgy accent aside, is pretty great in The…
Dredd is by far my fave Karl role, but I can’t fault your logic. He was an amazing Bones; and from what I remember, his Caesar was pretty good as well.
Paying tribute to Peggy’s role in founding SHIELD would be very appropriate for the final, time-traveling season of the show, I think. Also she probably would be proud of Coulson & co and it would be nice for her to get to see them and realize that they are carrying on her legacy.

Bigger picture/conspiracy - Colson was ALWAYS an LMD!
Hmm... but will her “husband” (AKA post Endgame Steve) put in a surprise appearance as well?
Only if he says the Zephyr needs a bar and reminds FitzSimmons not to put in a DAMN FISH TANK!
A valentine to the fans? Anyone familiar with what happened at the end of Star Trek: Enterprise might break into a cold sweat after reading your post. Only difference is the AoS writers are much better than Berman and Braga who wrote the final Enterprise episode.
Snubbed? Peggy died of old age in Age of Ultron and still managed to make a couple of scenes in Endgame and Jarvis is the only tv exclusive character to make an appearance in the movies.
As soon as last season ended my first thought was, “well, not sure what they are going to do but at least we’ll get more Peggy Carter.” So, not so much a wild rumor but a logical conclusion to evidence that will actually be glaringly obvious if it DOESN’T happen.
