Let’s be honest here. TOS was not very good.. yes, some eps told some great stories but from Shatner’s over acting to the horrible special effects and cheap sets, it was unique for its time, but just average as a series.

Same.. this season is incredible. The start with the Klingons was a miss step, but this pre Kirk stuff has been awesome and very creative and moving.
