Eddie death means Eobard does not exist in the future of THIS timeline, not the former timeline. Eddie changed the future, now all bets are off for events now that the timeline has been altered. I don’t buy the parallel universe stuff, but just look at the timeline as being infinitely flexible.

I don’t get the appeal of this show.. It’s kind of like Walking Dead to me where there is just so little redeeming value as far as entertainment goes. So much death and misery. Maybe you had to be there from the beginning, but it’s just too dark and plodding imho.

I think the point is that they should display diversity as it existed at the time, warts and all. Just like the blatant sexism that was displayed, there would still be outright racism and homophobia, even amongst FBI agents or police. The California location will allow them a lot of room to push those boundaries.

I think as long as they keep it accurate historically. The sexism displayed was a real eye opener for young people I think. So it was not the most enlightened times and should be depicted as such.
