This merger seems to be going the way of many all other mergers, with fewer options for consumers and higher prices.

Isn’t this almost exactly what antitrust laws are designed to prevent? This seems to fit the whole monopolistic bent of the Sherman Act. Buying the only competitor and then doubling rates, seems a bit to nail-on-the-head.

Cool, double the price for a library I’ve already watched everything I wanted to? Guess Crunchyroll is leaving my streaming must haves.

TikTok is ALWAYS wrong.

I was just being a smartass and saying to turn the right side up while loading. Thus no more liquid in the bottom.

Mine screams “ME HELP!” very aggressively while making a mad dash for the steak knives.

It’s too much to ask a site to cross reference their articles with their sister sites before posting.  Didn’t you know that?

As with pretty much EVERY other TikTok “hack” ignore it.

Yep but don’t do it when cooking fish in there, it’ll dry it right out.

Given that it’s from tik-tok no wonder everyone is pointing out the very simple act of “opening the dishwasher” can fulfill the same purpose alone. I’m not sure what it is about Tik-tok but many of the “hacks” are practically Rube-Goldberg machines.

#Hacked

Is this still recommended when I’m defrosting my meat in the dishwasher?

My understanding is that some European dishwashers have a mechanism where it opens the dishwasher door (just slightly) when it’s done with the wash cycle to let it air dry. I wish American dishwashers had the same feature.

If you’re opening the dishwasher at the end of the cycle to put in the towel, you can just open the dishwasher and let the steam out, no towel required.

A good solution that a lot of manufacturer’s include in their mid-tier and up models is the automatic door open at the end of the cycle. My Samsung turns on a fan as well which pushes all that steam out of the dishwasher. Now if they could just solve the water that’s left in little puddles on top of cups and bowls.

I’m not saying there’s never a time to clear your cache, but the entire design purpose of a cache is to speed things up. Clearing it will normally (by design) cause some additional slowness as the cache is rebuilt.
