But not Pippa’s bridesmaid dress. Nothing can top that, ever.
In their case, they haven’t made money on things people need (Pharma Bro) or by screwing people over (Drumpf). So it could be worse.
They did. Beyonce is from Houston, and created an organization called BeyGood to provide aid to people affected by the hurricane. She even spent a weekend in Houston handing out food and supplies to hurricane victims.
Beyonce was one of the first celebrities to throw money at the Houston hurricane effort. She got quite a bit of attention for it.
I love real estate porn as much as anyone but you shouldn’t feel that way at all. We live in a strangely egalitarian time. All their stuff is just a bigger version of all the stuff you enjoy. They wash their clothes in washing machines and sleep on comfy mattresses just like you.
She’s donated after Harvey, water crisis in Flint, earthquake in Nepal, pretty sure she set up a Lemonade scholarship...
When others purchase Real Estate it is hailed as a smart investment. When African Americans do it is a gross display of wealth. Donald Trumps place in New York has gold fixtures everywhere and he gets elected president in spite of his over consumption of wealth. Jay and Bey have an empire to pass on to their children…
How do you contact him now? Is their a list of vehicles he has left for sale? Thanks for any help you can provide.
How about reaching out to some of those television networks that have car restoration programs or even email the shows, I’m sure this place will be a auto restorers dream
He’s such a fucking manbaby. “More progress against ISIS in the last nine months...” What? H0w? Based on what? These are just words. And his dumbfuck supporters will just look at them and say “See!?!” without even one thought as to what they actually mean.
1) “The boy’s uncle, Lyrik Martin, who also posted photos of his injuries on social media, wrote in a post that he wasn’t sure the attack was racially motivated”
“...compare your life to someone who spent it being unwanted at every possible level and think about how easy it would be to mess it all up.”
It’s a tough sell to dehumanize people in prison and expect them to reintegrate into society as highly functional humans later. Let’s recognize that many criminals who commit seemingly “inhuman” crimes have often been degraded and mistreated in ways we couldn’t imagine. Lots of people congratulate themselves for…
I read a book about a journalist who went undercover as a guard in the New York State prisons and was at Sing Sing for a while. He makes it pretty clear that the system fails both prisoners and guards.
You know, I used to be a fucking moron and believe that prison inmates deserved what they got. I was, like, 12 at the time.
Holy shit this is amazing. I can’t imagine a more effective stance on prison conditions. It would be nice if we listened to the prisoners themselves but, since that hasn’t happened and isn’t realistically going to, the prison guards’ voices have become the most important by default and this strike speaks volumes.
How much better could our society be if we treated prisoners not only like human beings but actually like citizens? We expect them to serve their time and then rejoin society, but we completely dehumanize them the entire time they’re in prison. What purpose does that serve?
