Why, Yes... Yes I am.
Why, Yes... Yes I am.
I still wish Pearl Jam didn't "sell out" Frankly, their music was too good to be heard beyond the walls of a few Seattle clubs.
1000 internets for you sir.
All Of them
Best part about both of your posts is you telling me what I meant when you clearly have no idea. No wonder you told me to pipe down, you're confused.
Yes, we'll agree to disagree. Freedom is an insane idea. Tell the boys at the politburo I said hello.
Your talking points are cute, but they're crap. A voice for the people huh? You realize the mandate for Govt was to merely protect our individual freedoms, right? So much for that.
1.) How can I take you seriously if you're going to start making fallacious arguments like age, in this case 60 years old, as if knowledge or historical context can somehow be "out of date". That in itself shows your bias, not your intellect.
Don't tell that to the people who left Truman off that list.
I mean, there were how many hundreds of thousands, if not millions of direct and indirect deaths and suffering as a direct result of the Atomic bombs dropped at Hiroshima and Ngasaki? What does the Military call them, collateral damage, <govt speak for innocents> ?
I suppose we then disagree on the actual history, or more specifically the true purpose. I appreciate that though because I too was once told the same things. If you wish, and obviously no one is forcing you to since that's not my thing, feel free to read this piece by Rothbard on Anti-Trust and then if you think its…
I'm not impressed.
Opening Paragraph:
"If there were no regulators at all, America would have ONE telecom company. Period"
If you wish to split hairs, we can do so but at the end of the day when you speak of fascism and socialism, it is of my belief that they fundamentally share the same major characteristics. Those are the direct intervention of Govt using its Authority [some would label it a monopoly on threats, force, or violence] to…
Don't disagree. There is no real competition. At this point what you have are large corporations that embrace many regulations, though not all, and continue to fight over which they wish to pick and choose from, so long as no legitimate competition arises from smaller businesses.
Jamie, I'm going to keep this civil and above board and hope you do the same if you wish to have an honest debate. With that said, here are some questions I'd like for you to consider and some statements.
I did, its why I mentioned in another post the contradictive statement of wishing for assistance from the regulators when they are the inherent problem. With that said, I agree 100% w/ the statement. Thanks for pointing it out though.
Again, I never said it was perfectly free, nor have I ever espoused its' perfection. It was just more free and a superior method vs. anything else ever devised. But feel free to frame the argument in whichever straw man fits your tale best.
if you know what a voluntarist is then you'll know what I believe in as being the most efficient and effective (not perfect) way to approach markets. I'd be more than happy to hear what you have to say but only if you're open for debate.
