We went through much the same with Schumacher during the oughts. On the one hand, Vettel's skill and ferocity make watching him very special. Unfortunately, his incessant victories do become a little boring. However, the other battles for the podium have been adequate compensation.

The only good thing that came out of the unconscionable destruction of Penn Station was the historic preservation movement. Jacqueline Kennedy spearheaded the movement to preserve New York's Grand Central as a direct consequence of the Penn Station destruction.

I never quite got the point of the Volvo hatchback. I'd rather have a Golf GTI. But the P1800 always struck me as a classic. This update is quite nice and well worth Volvo'sk manufacturing. If they do build it, I think enough will come to justify the company's effort.

Cormorant, I agree with the Vorkosigan series. They have humor and depth and some of the most interesting characters in the genre. My problem? She doesn't write enough of them!
