What show have you been watching? Since when do people watch Metalocalypse for the plot?

It's hilarious and unnecessary but let's look on the bright side here. It doesn't sound like crap and may expose some people to the Everly Brothers who otherwise never would have heard of them.

I hope he won't end up a long-term fixture of shittiness like Pete Campbell, but I just know he will.

"It's fantastic" is a lot better than "[it has] more chunky, gooey, lovely bits."

Two Months Later

I hate to be so quick to write something off but…

Man, that scares me. I've heard so much about how disappointing it was for fans when Weeds and Dexter jumped the shark. I'd hate to become attached to a show like this only to watch it fall apart.

Absolutely. I am usually all for pushing boundaries but "how long and unwieldy can we make our band name" is NOT a question that needs to be asked.

I mostly read AV Club music reviews for comic relief. I would do that for Pitchfork too but I consider it immoral to give them the page views.

You'd be hard pressed to find a Breaking Bad fan who doesn't have this fantasy.

Just goes to show how hilarious it is that critics even bother to assign letter grades to their reviews. This applies in the music section as well.
