Bought a condo. Rent it out. The rent pays loan & association fees. No one would lend me $100K to buy stocks.

I basically think of my house as a cash-in-the-mattress kind of thing. I’m not going to make a fortune when I sell it, but I get to live here and when I pay it off and retire, I sell it and that cash comes back to me.
