I just wish that I could get away from Windows and onto Linux. I can't because my primary computer is my work laptop, and that HAS to be Windows because of the software I run. Linux just won't work for my business life, and if I can't have Linux for work, I can't have Linux for home.

If my laptop doesn't have a touch screen, then I don't want to HAVE to use a touch screen based interface. Just like if I have a touch screen device, like a tablet or a phone, I don't want to use a mouse based interface.

I have never carried my wallet in my back pocket. It's about 1 1/2 inches (4 cm) thick. It would throw my whole back out of alignment.

AFAIK, SIM cards aren't locked. The phones themselves are lock. I've put many different SIMs into an unlocked phone, and they've all worked, even though only my SIM was in the phone when it was unlocked.

@ScottPetricig I thought the same thing. Haven't tried anything yet, but I'll be damned if I'm going to pay the $20+ a year subscription fee for it. I have only ever used to because it was neat. I've never had a good reason to use it.

@WhatDatMean I assume that would work, but I'm not spending $45 on it when my router is close enough to get the thing to work. :)

You'll have to copy and past. The commenting system doesn't like this url format. Put an http:// in front of it.

Stupid thing, but true. Those Craftsman Garage Door Openers you see on TV that have a nifty app that allows you to check on your garage door and open or close it from wherever you are...the device that you hook up to the Internet requires a wired connection.

I almost never use cash, and as a result, almost never have any. I know that if I put a $20 in my phone case, I'd be driving past a 7-11 and think "Oh, I can get a soda now that I have cash and don't have to charge $2 to my debit card." It wouldn't last. It's a good idea for other people, I bet.

Is it me, or is this a long article for one about keeping things brief? :)

Sources? On the Internet? Might as well ask for a magic pill that removes toxins from your body! :P

I want to create a server based solution using an old PC I have gathering dust. I'm waiting for the prices to come back down a little bit before I get in there.

A terabyte or two of hard drive backup space.

I should have seen the ;-) and figured it out. I recently tried it, and while my hands were dry, they still felt wet to me. Psychological, I know, but there you have it.

As my 12 year old son likes to say...."OH HEEEELLLLL NO!"

I always shake when I'm done....washing my hands. And I do fold the paper towel, too. But one sheet is never enough for me. I will use three or four, and they will all be wet before I'm done. I have big hands, so I need a little extra. I could try a little extra shaking and a little extra work to get them dry with

I'm sure his attitude is that if he can get just 5 or 6 people in the audience to try it, they will more than compensate for his 5 or 6 sheets wasted.

I'm not neat enough to make the dots appear the way they should each time. I'd lose count.

Sounds like a job for Greasemonkey.

Happiness isn't how much you earn, but how much you spend. If you earn $100,000, but spend half your income on your house, you'll not be as happy as you would be if you earned $75,000, but only spent a quarter of your income on your house.
