I don't think anyone is saying to dump the current equipment. Even Toshiba is saying they'll continue to support it. I just think people are likely now to want to got to blu-ray, now that it's "won", and they will have all these hd dvds around. Why keep both machines hooked up if you don't have too? is probably the

Yea. The code for the begin search button is javascript:find_location(). That is called in a javascript stored at [felonyspy.com] In there the code is as follows:

@David M: I've got a few white dress shirts that are still in great shape except for the collars that have yellow rings on them. They really need to be replaced, but they would be great for this.

Yea, like I could take the sleeves of my shirt, wrap them around my back, then back around front, and tie them!

Put a tennis ball in the toe, tie it in a knot right against the tennis ball, and play tug of war with your dog. Also great for fretch, if your dog does that.

Isn't Ubuntu/GNOME kind of redundant. If it weren't GNOME, it would be Kubuntu or Xubuntu, right?

I fly all the time on all different airlines. No airline is perfect, and you will find people who will swear they will never fly each of them every again. It's just the way it goes.

Anyone else see the irony of a "View the demo Start here" Microsoft ad at the bottom of this particular article?

@trstn: Have you ever folded a standard piece of paper (8 1/2 inches wide by 11 inches long in the US) long way, then unfolded it and tried to staple right down the crease. You can't with a normal stapler.

Nice site. Be warned that IE does crash on this site. Well, unpatched version of IE, such as mine. FF, of course, works well.

@Sacrilicious: The Dash (I have one) is an HTC phone. It's the Excalibur, I think.

@quazi: If IBM created a better calendar, it would be in a power point file, with each screen being called a foil, and there would be at least twenty seven of them. One for the title, one for the agenda, two for each month, and one for the wrap up.

@Gina: I can see how some people might find this right up their alley, but to me, it's just too much darn work.

I'm another Fonero (I've gotten two free routers from them).

I'm both. I ran some wires before I had a wireless card, and all the desktops in my office are wired. My kids desktop is wireless, because I didn't want to run the cable into the kitchen.

4ster, have you ever gone looking to buy some sporting goods from Dick's Sporting Goods? Make sure you type the full name out to go to www.dickssportinggoods.com, and not www.dicks.com!

Anyone else notice that there are two "Operating System, most improved" entries on this list?

My sister does this folding thing with every present that makes it look like she added a strap of the wrapping praper that goes around the present. It's very impressive, but I have no idea how she really does it, or where she got the idea from.

I have the normal ones (my SSN, my phone, my cell, my work number, my wife's cell, and so on), and then there's pi to 8 digits (3.1415926) from my days in college. My airline miles number on USAirways, which isn't all numbers. The model number of my laptop (I don't know why). The number of eggs in a dozen.
