I purchased some SlideBelts. I really liked the design - the ratchet operation is really slick and works very well. One significant caution, though: The belt buckles get scratched and marred very easily. I would recommend staying away from the coated buckles (like the checkered / matte finishes), and go with the open m…

Possibly one of the most unfortunate aspects of this (beyond the obvious health-related reasons) is that the right-wing media will sell this to their audience as the “inevitable failure that we’ve been telling you for years” of the ACA (Sorry, uh, “Obamacare”).
Poor people will be losing their insurance or seeing…
Not interested, especially if the “Back” button is being deprecated. That’s probably the most-used button on my phone.
I don’t believe any of these family “Face ID” videos yet, but only because they aren’t rigorous in their “proof”.

Hi, Tigrisan - No, you are not boiling, you are steaming. The water is only about 1/2 inch deep, and does not cover the eggs. The purpose of the small amount of water is to create steam to surround all of the eggs at a fairly uniform temperature. I’ve tried this method quite a few times now, and it has worked very…
Four reasons poached eggs are superior: I have never figured out how to get the egg out of the shell without: 1) Destroying a beautifully cooked egg in the process; 2) The amount of time to remove the soft-boiled egg from the shell means that the egg will be lukewarm by the time I get to eat it; 3) I don’t have to…
It’s not a fully closed system. Dishwahers have vents located somewhere on the door where the moisture escapes during the drying cycle. My KitchenAid has vents on both sides of the door. Our old GE had a vent near the handle at the top of the door.
