So white people can’t be good at martial arts, only Asian people? Isn’t that one of them ... what do you call it ... its the stupid thing like asking an Asian kid about math ... umm ... microtransgressions ... yea, there we go. Making Iron Fist an Asian is steriotyping and microtransgressioning ...

Seriously. A white guy learning kung-fu secrets is even slightly transgressional by stereotype standards. An asian dude with mystic martial arts powers is not.

Not every character Marvel casts has to be a gay black amputee I’m so sorry.

Counterpoint: No it doesn’t.

He needed some of these.

I can’t watch the short at the moment, but the title seems poorly chosen given the cultural prominence of some other things using the term “Night Stalker”:

Good insight. I thought her performance had more depth than anything I’ve previously seen her in, too.

Her casting definitely gave it a sense of poignancy that it might have otherwise lacked.

They couldn’t have chosen a better actress to star in this. Aging sexpot, looking for a rebirth.

The woods, the most likely place besides a public bathroom for dimensional travel.

Yes please, the woods is a magical place associated with so much folklore. I was so pumped for this because I love a snowy forest setting and then....zombie. Boring.

Me?

I think the best portrayal of that dichotomy is in Gravity Falls, which shows the fun and beauty and danger of the woods, as well as

Ah, darn it. I was hoping that this was about James Woods going on a Shining-like coke fueled rampage.

All the way through I was wondering where the heck they managed to film that. That couldn’t all be CGI, and it couldn’t all have been constructed for the movie, so... I’m just deeply curious about the location, and its history, and how they found it.

Good tension throughout with an ambiguous finale. Thumbs up!

Didn’t the Twilight Zone have an episode with this same theme staring Charles Bronson and Elizabeth Montgomery. He was the last American defender alive and she was the last invading Russian?

I will watch anything with giant robots in it (well, other than the last 3 Transformers movies), so thank you. <3
