I tend to forget about most things that cost over a few hundred bucks.  

FCA Heritage has been doing this for years.  They supply a certificate of origin and originality, highlighting any competition chops, for Abarths, Alfas, Fiats and Lancias. 

Traditionally, since I was a kid, every time talk came up about a high speed train between LA and Vegas, projects would apparently get crushed by airline industry opposition before the first shovel full of dirt could be moved. Or at least, that was the reason given.

You miss the largest barrier. It was pushed through by red district officials in solidly red areas to be built and operate along a route where barely anyone lives, but the project could be pointed to by those officials as ‘I did this for my constituents’, like that bridge to nowhere in Alaska by another Republican.

The Clean Vehicle Rebate Project was easy to apply to and use. I procured a 2015 Fiat 500e with 16k miles in 2018 for $8k exactly. The grant covered either $5k or $6k. It was six years ago, I don’t remember the amount.

They work.  They work well.  They’re cheap to run, something the shipping industry will embrace.  The issue is who’s producing them.

A more realistic, business oriented possibility:  It’s a case of really bad management, with too many distractions.  The board show grow a pair and replace him.

1st gear: Mismanagement (lack of focus), bad PR, bad long term decisions (cheap Model 2).  A general, all inclusive fuck-up. 

They zero in on the problem and only the problem, and it stays fixed.  You’ll know otherwise if you’re getting screwed.
