I think...how do I say this? First of all, I like Duckman, and I love The Simpsons. I’m in the sub-sub-assholes-sub-camp that thinks season 8 was the last great season, but I watched religiously until maybe Season 14, so definitely I can see where you’re at when you say the first 10.

Honestly I have to disagree. They are exaggerating his powers in this season but he has been called the Rickest Rick AND the smartest guy in the universe, so him being able to do these things is just something I’ve accepted. What I really like about all the exaggerating in season 3 though, is it’s juxtaposed with

Counterpoint: The show is pretty good.

COUNTERPOINT: Every single aspect of that episode, including a human transforming himself into a pickle and back using a secret serum, is scientifically plausible.

And did you notice how Pickle Rick hit the same bar on the xylophone yet it produced two clearly different tones? Are to believe that this is some sort of, heh heh, “magic” xylophone or something?

In my expert opinion, you should not watch it or read articles pertaining to it.

“Call me an old man but”

That scene where Bobby walks in the conference room and sees Laura’s picture as her theme starts to play. The emotions hit you like a brick, I teared up.

That was the first performance where I wasn’t waiting for the credits to show up. First L’lorando in MD and now this. She’s a force.

Good, original angle for a Twin Peaks article. Too bad no one will see my comment and that I’m left feeling ostracized from the discussion due to the suck barrier that is Kinja, because I love this show.

Favorite non-James Hurley performance has gotta be Rebekah del Rio’s “No Stars” (co-written by David Lynch!). Absolutely haunting.

In any case, the man has perfected the subtle art of whoosh intensity.
