So an empty, hollow case that has less structural integrity and would send most of the impact force to the largest areas of the phone (the front back glass) can't survive 3 consecutive drops by people WANTING to make it crack? wow, color me amazed.

@earle117: Not me. The reflections on both orbs are unique as are their individual reflections on the base unit. Other than the flipped calender, everything is unique from any center fold that I can see.

@Dion Roberts: With the bad reviews the EVO is getting from droidboys I'm sure the numbers will decline further.

With low profiles, you'd be hard pressed to even notice if you have a flat. I had to be told (when I was younger) while driving down the road, by a passenger in another car, that I had a flat. Sure, only 17" low pros back then (80s) but I had no idea the tire was flat because it takes such little air.

Who's not to say that cars were too small back then? Besides, bigger engines, airbags, sound deadening, nicer seats, navigation and various electronics, etc all require more space and weight.
