uh, please correct me if i'm mistaken, but didn't the Eddington experimental results disprove Newton's inverse square law? Newton's law does not predict the results that Eddington got. so, uh, wasn't he actually disproved? i think so, but only with a confidence less than 5 sigma.

not so fast. science understands things progressively. Newton's theory of gravitation was held as truth for centuries until Albert E came along. and, scientists are really going to accept this result (either way), w/o actually testing it again somewhere else other than CERN (yeah, i know about nowhere else YET able…
