the payoff for Shattered is in the denouement. it's the convergence of his illness with the crimes that shaped his life. and really cool, how he's able, kind of, to solve cases with this amazingly disabling disability.
kind of a Canadian version of the Bourne stories, set in the US. conspiracies, action, thriller, etc
Endgame has an amazing character, and the acting is wonderful.

Can anyone please explain how the TARDIS, which exists simultaneously in all of time and space, was not already aware of all that was going to happen in this story? Why didn't Idris as TARDIS know all that?

i still remember how terrifyingly scared I was as a 6-year old watching the huge ants in Them, and the Monster from the Black Lagoon. and jumping out of my seat when the first Alien burst through a chest. for me, what made them so horribly scary was the inability to escape them. i suppose that's existential.
i caught the end — this was wonderful. i hope someone can post a link to the on-demand archive version when that's available (from uStream or AMNH)
