I dont know how else to explain it, because apparently anything i said can be “shot full of holes” but:

A person in a hobby identifies themselves as a part of the hobby. They have a passion for the hobby. They want to do more of the said hobby. These people are important to the industry they are a part of because it

Adding more to this because this post got weird:

Can you understand that using the statistic of how many women drivers are to gauge the interest of “women in cars” is useless?

Yeah, I drive a car. I dont give a shit about my car. I drive it because I have to. I wouldn’t consider myself any part of a “car hobbyist” culture. I wouldn’t try to hang out with people who DO like cars, or talk about or share any “car” related stories, spend more and more money on car related items, etc.

People who ENJOY a hobby, have a passion for it. They aren’t doing it to “waste time” and dont consider it a waste of time, they dont do it as a passing thing. They do it because they enjoy it, and want to do more of it.

No, you said “only playing games that people shoot people in the face are consider gamers”. Thats a far cry from what I said.

The 50/50 ratio is BS though. It includes grandmas playing Facebook games or people playing cell phones.

If they skipped her over because of her skin color / gender, thats illegal. Its the same point

Yeah but... Neo Geo CD still came out in the 90's. Doesn’t help someone from the 80's?

I was confused by the article, because nobody was eating shit

“Guys are just afraid of gurls they can’t handle a womyn! Not me though I’m cool”

The damsel trope isn’t tired and people need to stop shaming men for that. The damsel thing was born out of a need to make games engaging for men and what better way then to have the man fight for something he cares about? It is in mans nature to protect women and so it’s only natural a game would focus on that, so

At least this person gave it a chance and actually admitted to enjoying it, but they always have that line of “well this is creepy, gross and borderline hateful to women” as if they need to save face from someone or something. Could really do without that judgmental garbage they do. Like, what if they said that about

I was drawn in to this game because of it’s cute art style and goofy focus on battling panties, I really enjoyed it but felt the difficulty curve goes up pretty quickly. There is quite a bit of challenge too, in being able to unlock new panties.

Roadhog is so many kinds of BS, never take control away from the player and making players stunned when hooked by Roadhog is complete garbage and takes strategy and control away from the player, instead of being able to try and free themselves from a death situation instead the player is left flailing like an idiot

Dragon Quest selling well in Japan? Wow! What a shocker! Never saw that one coming! Totally suprised!

No release date has even been announced for the Switch version yet (or screenshots/videos for that matter)

Gunmetal Arcadia, the game from the developer being quoted. It has a obvious “inspired” by Zelda 2 / maybe Faxanadu look to it. Too bad it isn’t anywhere near as good as those games

Personally, I dont mind retro style game, but I’m a bit tired of specifically “8bit”/NES era style games. There were other “Retro” eras other than NES, like 16-bit SNES/Gen Era, “32bit” Saturn/PSX era, etc. Or just a modern era pixel game is fine, theres so much you can do with pixel art these days. I think we’ve done

Thats quite a distortion of timelines there. Shovel Knight came out way after everybody started doing retro-styled games.
