I’m on the stance of removing content from someone else’s work is usually a bad thing (in this case, NoA removing content from NCL/IS’s game, or Tecmo US (or NoA) removing content from Tecmo Japan, etc). I dont know how on earth it can be viewed as good.

Do you even listen to yourself? Why would it be GOOD to lose content? Removal of content can ONLY be negative.

The FFX is an example of localization. The impact of “Thank you” falls flat outside of Japan. While the localization is STILL inaccurate, something like this isn’t a problem. REMOVING THE SCENE WOULD OF BEEN A PROBLEM.

·Casual mode was in the original Japanese game from Nintendo Co. Ltd. It was not added to the US version by Nintendo of America. That is completely unrelated, but I really doubt that anybody would care about features being added (See Ruby & Emerald Weapons in Final Fantasy 7 US) vs things being REMOVED.

I think you have a VERY narrow definition of censorship. It doesn’t have ANYTHING to do with oppression, though, you can easily POLITICALLY censor people to oppress them. When the TV censors cover up breasts and bleeps on a TV show, they aren’t “oppressing” people. I don’t think they are “out to get me” What the hell…

It was censorship back in the NES days, its censorship now. Why change the definition because “no authority” is involved? You’ve never needed an authority figure to censor content. If i bleep out my own curse words, nobody is telling me to. I still censored it.

That isn’t even a good definition of Censorship. From Wiki:

Removing content is censorship... it was all the way back in the NES days, it is now. Its stupid in this day and age too.

Yeah, returning a game is easily abusable and shady. I would consider THIS actually “theft” (not really, but closer than piracy), because of how much time effort and resources you are taking from all parties involved if you are abusing it. There is actual money lost here. Just like with used games sales or rentals…

Honestly, I think the good ol’ M&KB, with all the shortcuts you can do at a lighting pace, is not going to be replaced with something like this. There is so much jittering and fumbling around, it seems very inefficient.

Oh! Is that so? Back on the Wii they used to let you save digital content (WiiWare & VC) to the SD card, I assumed it was the same on the Wii U. Now that you mentioned it, i think it did some weird copy/paste to main memory every time you selected a game off the SD card, but it was just scratch space that got released…

Because they dont even give much space on the black “deluxe” one! 32GB is still ridiculously small. You have to eventually expand the storage no matter what you do, especially if you do anything digitally.

SD card goes in the SD card slot?
A tiny flash drive plugs into the back of the unit out of sight?
And if you really need that much more space, externals aren’t even that big.

Just buy a flash drive, SD card (small upgrade but dirt cheap), or an external (any size HDD you want, not even that expensive). I ran out of space on my 32GB and just popped in a cheap 32GB flash drive and doubled my space for like $15-20... you can get TB externals for usually less than $80 these days too

Why dont they just buy an SD card, thumb stick (which is dirt cheap), or external HDD (which isn’t that expensive)? Why try to deal with 8GB of space??
