he does not like Houston as a city.

I live downtown and I hear people celebrating. It’s 12:45 am.

That’s funny because I can smell the Oakland in your Mama!

Us old school Ws fans suffered much more than the Cavs fans ever did before this run. Sure there are frontrunning dudebros, but lots of us remember forty years of unbelievable futility. So eff all of you haters, we are loving this.

“I moved to San Francisco a few months ago...”

Your post will be well liked because its both a salty grasp at straws to hate the warriors and also irrelevant since the Warriors don’t play in San Francisco. I live in downtown Oakland and there’s fireworks going off everywhere.

Your equating the city with the entire Bay Area is just so San Francisco. Welcome, and definitely get out of that shitty bubble whenever you can.

They are in Oakland silly. Hit the BART and go to where the Warriors play.

Go over to Oakland where the team plays.

Cross that Bay Bridge into the East Bay...

Steph was NOT healthy in 2016 when they lost. He had knee, ankle and elbow injuries. They outplayed a team without Green, Bogut (two key defensive players) and a banged up Curry.

He had a bunch of makeable shots at the rim that didn’t fall; I don’t think just letting the best 3-point shooter of all time take shots and hope he misses is a great plan.

yeah, having exploded ankles that continuously and seriously threatened your playing career is not “a moment of strife” at all.

I’m not a fan of Stephen Curry but to say he’s never had one one moment of adversity in his life is not true.

Yeah - there’s nothing joyless about the way Golden State plays. Throwing up 28 footers on top of the way they run the fast break is super fun to watch.

“those front-running motherfuckers, who only taunt and talk shit when they’re up by enough points to be safe, reminded us that these Cavs aren’t supposed to win.”

People can bitch about not “resorting to violence” but part of making the world a nicer place for marginalized people is shutting up racists and other assholes. Punching Richard Spencer in the face, tossing drinks at Tomi Lahren, these aren’t just things that give me a warm fuzzy, they’re laudable actions that

I mean, I read your comment and it wasn’t very interesting, so I made a joke. The sum of your point is still “I find a great player doing exactly what makes him great infuriating and also he dances and that annoys me.” It’s okay.

You’re right. The Warriors were a historical powerhouse before he got there. What NBA fan hasn’t stayed up at night, reminiscing over Bob Sura, Andris Biedrins, and Ronny Turiaf?

So, let’s see: Wrapping up his ninth season, will play in the NBA Finals for the fourth time in those nine years, has won the scoring title once and MVP twice, and has singlehandedly challenged and changed notions about floor spacing and the value of the deep shot, more or less shaping the game in his own image...but
