There’s a huge Filipino population here in Jacksonville, FL. Jollibee opened up a restaurant about a year ago and you would’ve thought Pacquiao himself was cutting the ribbon. Lines were hours long daily for about a month after opening.

As a Floridian, it’s always nice to see something uplifted after reading the words “Florida Man. . .” in a news headline. You know, as opposed to “Florida Man, high on bath salts, eats another man’s face.”

I hated this time of year the most when I used to live in Auburn, AL, about 30 minutes from the Eastern Time Zone and it got pitch black dark at 4:30p. The absolute worst. It’s like I shut down for the rest of the night.
