Donal Logue!
Donal Logue!
I think the women's legitimate flaws are represented as well. They immediately dismiss Ryan's contributions, Cameron pays Joanie $20 to invite the class bully to her party, and Donna mistakenly assumes her existing relationship with Diane means their pitch is in like Flynn. I also think the male characters are more…
Joe's pitch included a couple of phrases that possibly foreshadow a Libertarian presidential run, not unlike the IRL inspiration. :)
When Cameron and Donna visit the first VC firm, Cameron mentions their funding of Cisco and the partner tells his assistant to remind him to call "Sandy." Must be Sandy Lerner (co-founder of Cisco), right? Interestingly enough, she's big on activism and philanthropy IRL so is this also true in a fictional portrayal…
I picture Erlich with a sudden motivation to reclaim his garage, and mid-bong hit suggesting he pose as a new Airbnb tenant as a means to let Jared in and reverse the squatting process.
When Cameron first proposed the CA move, it was refreshing that the first words out of Donna's mouth weren't, "but what about my kids?" Her facial expression indicated that she was immediately figuring out how to make this work.
They already went one step further with a hot male bisexual lead character!
I cackled when I saw the headline - cheers to the writers who brilliantly merged truth with fiction. I wonder if that was the intended objective, or if they thought of it later?
