Have you ever heard of Dante Fenolio? He's a researcher studying the amphibian decline and I'm pretty sure it's his life's calling. I'll bet you'd be interested in his work if you don't yet know about it. Good info/tips on minimizing human impact. I am a biologist/herpetologist myself and I do so appreciate

I assume quantum networking would be simply that—networking using quantum storage and quantum computers. There already exists "theoretical" science laying out "theoretical" networking and storage possibilities if A: we can find and utilize viable superconductors to handle the immense processing that would be possible

If I understand the article correctly the evolutionary traits in question pertain to pit vipers that are largely found in the Americas, where their possum rivals are also native. mithriltim, aLynHall-you are both people after my own heart.

Thanks for putting Spider Johnson in there! LOVE Transmet!

Thanks, I'm going to check this out.

Same reason you don't see them in pics of the moon landing, which i think most people don't realize when claiming it was a hoax. Even if it was a hoax, I choose not to acknowledge it because a human standing on the moon sounds pretty sweet.

Alasdair Wilkins, you find such nice things to show us, thanks pal.

I think you misunderstood me, collex. I wasn't implying that "a decent" (good bet) might mean the same a "a solid" (a favor), but just that it might be used that way. I don't even think that's really how it was meant to be used, I was simply conjecturing. Good discussion though, gang!
