I can vouch for affinity. I’ve used photoshop and affinity, and for how I like to work, affinity is more comfortable to use. It’s unfathomable to me that in photoshop you still can’t zoom and pan with the track pad on a laptop. You have to choose between the two. Also the touch interface with screens on laptops barely…

I fell into that trap once. Just a simple addition or replacement to keep repeating and... oops, committed to a whole lot.
