I legally imported a Nissan Silvia, a Nissan Skyline GT-R, and even an AE86 Toyota Trueno.

Let's hope that Taito never takes this approach with Space Invaders. Can you imagine running around and shooting in detailed landscapes while an ever-accelerating "DUM- DUM-dum-dum..." tune plays in the background?
One of my favorite kinds of vending machines I remember seeing in Japan sat outside of compact ramen or oden shops- you picked the food you wanted from the names, prices, and photos over the buttons, put in your money, and got a ticket for that food item. You then just walked in, sat at the counter, offered the…
Japanese vending machines are nothing short of awesome. I love 'em. And have never understood why we don't have similar technology or machines in the USA (the vandalism issue is probably why). I could get a hot can of Shizuoka tea, or a cold can of Oolong tea from the same machine. Amazing.
Personally, I enjoyed American Sniper regardless of the controversies (which I was aware of). But one of the better portrayals of a sniper was in the recent film Fury- even though the finale is a bit on the ludicrous side (bring up a Panzerschreck and put a hole in the damn tank- and I doubt that any human body ever…
I had similar feelings with "Elfen Lied"- a horrific, gut-wrenching and difficult to watch series sometimes, yet it had a solid story that in the end made it one of my favorites.
I always used to bristle when people called the game cartridges "tapes" as if they were 8-tracks cassettes.
I still have my original Fairchild VCS (the "Channel F" name came later) and dig it out occasionally. The controllers still were more efficient than many of the modern ones as the functions were great- full joystick, push in, twist head right or left- no buttons! My favorite game probably remains "Dodge-It"- that one…
Weigh an empty football. Then weigh an inflated football. You'll notice a difference in the weight. Subtract empty from inflated, and you get the weight of the air inside.
even some Christian groups have found that the clear, pure, white glow of a reverse lamp can cause some children to feel the white, welcoming glow of Christ's arms.
She likely would deserve a bumper sticker saying "I Brake for Stupid." But then, she would always have her brake on when she is in the driver's seat- and there is nobody in front of her car.
Sorry she had problems. In all honesty, AppleCare has saved our bacon more times than I can count. My daughter went through 4 MacBook power adapters, a failed motherboard, a failed hard drive, and two iPhones (she just looks at electronics and they burst into flame).
However, Apple is solidly supporting Beats- my daughter got a pair of headphones a couple of years ago before Apple took them over, and they (predictably) lost connection in the left ear. I talked her into taking them to the Apple Store- and even though they were still old enough to have "Monster" branded on the…
Close to Yakult, but perhaps a little sweeter.
Trouble is, nobody ever told Alakazam that spoon-bending is just an old trick requiring no psychic abilities at all. Poser.
Not particularly new, but still clever. I remember when the World Builder-created Enchanted Scepters was released for Mac in the past, there was a switch bit in the program that served as a copy protection check (by an invisible file on the disk). If you just copied the game and didn't pay for it, you could play fine…
Usually the exit number placement on top of the exit signs (that we see just as he's coming to a stop) would indicate where the exit is going be- if on the left top of the sign, it's a left exit. If on the right top, it's a right exit. In this case there's no way to tell since the exit number is central.
