Well, I can't recall ever KILLING characters and feeling bad about it, but I did get similar pangs of regret when I was playing "Sakura Taisen" (Sakura Wars) years ago:

I initially was excited about getting Destiny, but it doesn't sound like it's delivering... and I'm still having fun with Titanfall (and haven't maxed out in Gens yet), so that satisfies my shooter urge. And Respawn is continually updating it to keep it fun, so I'll wait a bit on Destiny.

Perhaps its value comes from its... um... "hentai" possibilities.
