Never understood how the alleged provenance of a generic car makes its worth eleventy times more just because of it.

Broad list. BROAD. lolz.

First, don’t be so offended. Bentleys have downmarket VAG crap all through them, just chrome-bezeled.

A 3.6l base Charger is a pig. Drive one.

Impala, Malibu, Sonic, Cruze...

Slow sales? Raise the price!

Unless its one of the following...

Rick Scott is a piece of human shit and needs to eat a gun. Period.

Thanks for the extra few transmissions, Volvo!

Don’t worry, guys - Mazda has a 7-seat 3-row crossover with 98hp but 4000lb-ft of torque that peaks between an envelope of 2000 and 2017 RPM - which is what people use, like, all of the time anyway - for you to gush your shorts over.

This guy needs to stay exactly where he belongs...

Gawkerization of Jalopnik continues forward into the abyss...

No haggle only works when the price is fair and reasonable. Look at Carmax’s “ValueMax” offerings for a good laugh at this ideal and to see where no haggle falls apart.

“haggle-free used car dealers like CarMax are so appealing; they reduce the price anxiety.”

Why exactly is this even a story?

I guarantee a small number of those people that died in these accidents probably deserved to die because they’re high or drinking or driving extremely recklessly.

And if you're driving a five-speed ion or Cobalt I would hope that would give you enough presence of mind to know what to do when an emergency situation occurs especially versus the typical driver of these cars when they're automatics

I tried the same ignition-shut-off deal in an ‘06 ION II. The steering wheel did NOT LOCK UP. In fact, the steering wheel will NOT lock up unless the car is in PARK.

No, but a good ~50-60 died because they were dumb. Read the cases.

The average person shouldn’t put thirty-seven pieces of flair on they keychain either.
