The gag of Chuck E. Cheese’s head being cut open to reveal the dead performer inside, causing a cop in the background to puke, was just fantastic.

Why does he need to wash his hands? He doesnt even touch his wiener. He always pulls pants down and uses two hands to lift his shirt up.
I liked the juxtaposition of the seriousness of Marcus with the fact that he thought of the deaths as the deaths of the characters and not performers in costumes, because he’s a kid.
“Now you know how we do shit in the nursing home.”
Which you’d think is something they would have brought up before taking him off the island, especially after what happened with Tandy’s brother Mike.
Glenn was probably doomed anyway. He was isolated from the virus on the island, and it is unlikely that he is immune.
He gets big credit for announcing on Twitter: “Hey, it’s for a role and I have a nutritionist and that’s a lie I just got fat.” It happens. I like him a lot and hope his health stays on the good side.
Thanks for the update. I didn’t want to be too insensitive, if it was something health related. But he was damn near unrecognizable when I saw him on the show.
Apparently he had thyroid cancer and put on a bunch of weight as a result. If recent pictures are anything to go by, he also seems to have lost a fair amount of the weight since filming this season.
Did David Krumholtz go on a 70's “high carb” diet to get this role?
Tonight crackled the entire hour. And Maggie Gyllenhaal is firing on all cylinders, she is giving the performance of the year. She is thrilling to watch.
Matty “The Horse” Iannielo was a real life mobster who passed away a few years back. I love how this show incorporates real life figures into the story, and I can’t wait to see how this story arc goes.
Noone doubts Rebecca needs help, but I doubt Jesus would be of any help. And I wouldn’t say that Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is not a feminist show because the main character is female and has many issues.
Overall, I like that theory, but it does get a bit squicky when he’s describing Jane and Xo’s sex lives. On the plus side, if he’s narrating from 30 years in the future, then we haven’t all died in an apocalypse in the interim!
> I understand Jane trying to make sure mateo is not an asshole, but I don’t understand how in order for that to happen maeto has to quit public school.<
EDIT: The Crazy Ex-Girlfriend review just got posted to AV Club; maybe 5 minutes after I posted the above comment. Hooray!
Are we no longer doing reviews of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend here?
I wore this exact same outfit to the State Fair, and even the Carnies were like “Meh.” Too much coat?
The door-close/cut-to-black/pause/knock/open-door-again was the best fake out I’ve seen in ages. It reminded me of Sin City: That Yellow Bastard when John Hartigan is hanged and narrates his own death and then it just ends and cuts to black before coming back again with him giving one last struggle to survive (this…
Once again Trey and Matt have done great commentary with this episode. I noticed a lot of reviews/comments didn’t notice/pick up that last week Cartman was a side plot, but also directly relevant to the message of the week. Cartman, like the white supremacists, is just plain a dick and Heidi, like true black allies…
