personally his last big summer hit was Minority Report, WotW was pretty lame IMO. Is there a 4th kind of encounter? But I think they did something named or like that...
I wouldn’t bet money on that. At least I hope not. You don’t ruin perfect movies like CEotTK or ET.
Ready Player One made over $600 million, that’s not exactly a flop.
Ah, George Miller. The man is a national treasure. He’s also for me a bit of an enigma. I remember when he directed Babe: Pig in the City, then Happy Feet 1&2...it seemed like he had made a serious turn into children’s films, with huge gaps between...like he was winding down. When his Justice League fell apart I…
Um, okay, weirdo. Sorry she didn’t give you a hard on, I guess?
That's a lot of extrapolation from a couple lines about what is basically a normal creative process - pitch a bunch of ideas then discuss them to find the one everyone agrees with.
I’m not an Avatar fan; I haven’t seen Way of Water. But I really enjoy the ride and surrounding area at DW. To me, it breathes some life into a property I couldn’t care less about. The ride is really fun regardless of the theming and if that draws people in, makes sense to me.
The land itself might be the best part of Avatar. No one cars about the story but the world and environment is fantastic. The Animal Kingdom land translate that into a great experience and the Flight of Passage ride is one of the best attractions I’ve ever ridden. I just wish they would upgrade the ride’s projector to…
I was surprised to hear Zootopia in the mix of movies to get their own part of the expanded park. Was that movie THAT good? I assumed valuable park space would only be used for total blockbusters with at least one sequel.
I’m not a fan of the Avatar movies either, but the ride at WDW is a helluva lot of fun AND you don’t need to have seen a frame of any of the films to be immersed into the experience.
That’s exactly what he wants to say but is too chicken shit to actually say it.
DEI has to do with giving financial and professional opportunity to those that have purposely been excluded from the social and economic engine that they live in and contribute to.
It’s not really a gender swap/DEI if she’s based on an existing female surfer from the comics. But I guess it still will upset folks. Whatever.
Nothing will prevent the anger, so who cares what they think?
You might have caught in the above story that she is ONE of the Silver Surfers. This is in comics lore but maybe you don’t read comics because they’ve been about DEI since Stan Lee created the Black Panther.
Its reflecting user demographics, Paramount+ doesnt have much children’s content with the majority of films and series aimed firmly at adults, so having a single exclusive children’s show on it doesn’t make financial sense. Particularly as they are looking at merging the HBO & Paramount streaming platforms which will…
It was all so frustrating as to why it happened in the first place. Her comments were not antisemitic and to say a mistreatment of one group of people is hatred toward another is laughable. I’m glad her career is able to move on because there are too many people in this situation that would not be able to experience…
The facial mocap is fantastic but that looks more like US Agent than Cap.
What is this comment? Is this funny? Is it trolling? Is it edgy? I don’t get why you’d fucking bother posting this.
