Is 3 really more popular? I personally would put both 1 & 2 above in recognisable stuff. But then, MGS3 has never resonated with me so that could just be my bias speaking and that one *did* hit 3DS.....

Calling it a “trailer” is pushing it really. Its not inaccurate, but this wouldn’t be the opening or closing of an E3 you know?

For sure, my brain did that thing where it completely believed it was real for a split second before common sense kicked in

Yeh non of this says anything about purchases. The bare minimum this statement says is that you won’t need to create a new profile.

My Xbox Series X can play Heavy Weapon. An XBLA game I purchased in 2005.

Not really. Both of those thoughts can exist at the same time.

Not the best example really, Xbox has been around 2 decades. Master Chief was huge but arguably not as huge anymore.

This isn't a change for the sake for the sake of it, it's a

You can point to so many things that made Overwatch exciting and popular when it started and then start pointing at various decisions that dismantled each individual one and led to losing that popularity.

I never played Overwatch myself as I’m not much of a multiplayer guy but I was enthralled by all the early animations so I can’t help but think, that like you're suggesting, that any story can help keep interest in some players that wouldn’t traditionally be interested.

This one is perfectly fine for me. I tend to avoid the articles that don’t interest me.

It always amuses me when a website does something for well over a decade and some people are still “but this isn’t your identity”

To this day I still don’t quite understand why people think buying the odd studio and the odd bit of exclusivity is the same thing as buying one of the worlds leading publishers that contains 10s of studios and one of the biggest media properties within it.
