Check out Last Week Tonight from Sunday. John Oliver explained all of this. You can watch the Puerto Rico segment on YouTube.

Yay, the Caps pulled it out. I was worried after game 5, and the Flyers did play very well defensively, but they never looked like they had any chance of scoring until the last 5 minutes. And they couldn't even get puck in the zone in the last minute, even with an empty net.

I watched the first season on Netflix and it was a slog for me to finish. I think I got an email from Netflix saying season 2 was available but I haven't bothered to watch any of it yet. I just didn't find it all that interesting, even though I am a big history buff.

I think it's because a woman ends up winning (I'm not spoiled, just guessing). He still has never forgiven Sophie for beating Coach and Ozzy, and she was awesome.

There was a 7-11 a block away from my dorm my first two years in college. I was there far too often.

The Flyers did have one of the bigger team meltdowns I've ever seen in the third period. Most of the last 10 minutes were a Caps power play because the Flyers decided to stop playing hockey and goon it up, and the Flyer fans got a penalty for throwing stuff on the ice.

And the GOP has a meeting scheduled to update the rules before the convention, so they will likely change that rule. Because they want to stop Trump.

The Flyers were really trying to take away Ovechkin's shot on the power play, which is partly why Carlson was able to score the first goal.

He did that last night! Tried to steal 2nd, Werth hit a fly ball, and Murphy didn't start running back to first until way too late.

He rubbed his genitals against a female (Sue) and made her quit over it. That forever tarnished him in my eyes. And the show handled it horribly, should have kicked him off.

He did wear a hat after first game of the season which said "Make Baseball Fun Again" which I thought was a nice little FU to the Goose Gossage types.

They can both win. It was announced last week that Vance, Paulson, and Gooding will submit as leads and everyone else will submit as supporting.

Taft was actually Chief Justice after he was President.

Aren't there rumors that he might play young Han Solo in one of the prequels? That has to help.

They are censoring the nudity with pixelation. I did notice where they censored Rhonda saying "Fuck" once, but I haven't noticed any other language being censored, I haven't noticed anything. It didn't seem like it was missing any scenes but no way for me to be sure.

I really like this, too. It's not LOL funny but it's clever. I've been catching up on season 2 of The Leftovers and it was a surprise to see Holy Wayne show up as the President's military advisor.

There was one inch of snow last night and people were stuck in traffic for hours. I saw it was going to snow and left early enough that I got home just as the snow started to fall. I'm taking my work computer home tonight, and I figure I won't really go anywhere until probably Tuesday.

The Postman is definitely based on the book, but the movie ignores most of the book and makes it a Kevin Costner hero thing. I loved the book when I first read it, oh, 30 years ago, and the movie was a huge disappointment. I remember the first movie rumor was that Tom Hanks would be the lead.

The way he hurt Roethlisberger was really bad too. They didn't catch it during the game, but afterward a video came out showing him intentionally kneeing Roethlisberger in the shoulder after the tackle, which likely helped damage the rapist.

Slow motion car crashes. That is what I loved as a kid. Me and my brothers would recreate them with our Mattel toys.
