Geekycop is right. When the Taurus first came out, the rest of Detroit was still doing rectangles, so it looked like something out of the future, and for a while it was the default futurecar for filmmakers on a budget.
And a pretty low budget take at that. It wouldn’t look out of place in some cheesy Mad Max knockoff. The name even fits.
