My high school consisted of exactly 1 black guy and 1 black girl in a school of about 700 students. It wasn't a private or priveledged school, just the demographics the town were 98% white ( its an old Amish town). Anyways I don't remember any cultural appropriation there, which was pretty progressive in '97
