I feel your pain. I’ve worked at Walgreens, Target, and Lowe’s (and McDonald’s and Dunkin’ Donuts and a local pizza shop!). It was all miserable, all the time. Except for my coworkers. Most of my coworkers were usually awesome.

Dumb design decision. Some loading screen with tips and/or story exposition let you take your time with a confirmation button after the actual loading finishes. Let the downtime be at the whim of the player.

PS4 GoW really doesn't require any knowledge of the previous games to be enjoyed. I never played them and only knew that Kratos is a Spartan who became a demi-god and then killed ask the Greek gods. I don't think my limited knowledge took away any enjoyment.
