Here’s an idea; ban Uber and Lyft from manhattan.

It was only a matter of time before they were treated like taxi’s. It’s no shock that Uber drivers are underpaid/overworked and medallion holders are going bankrupt. People aren’t going to be happy about paying Uber drivers a living wage because their rides will have to increase in cost but it has to happen.

People are going to be in for an extremely rude awakening when these rides start costing what they should actually cost. 

Same in Boston and likely any other city.

Drivers from the burbs have no business trying to be taxis in Chicago. They don’t know where they’re going and their directions don’t match the road signs so they’re forever in the wrong lane at intersections blocking traffic trying to look at their phone.

Drivers not getting out of their personal cars to use overpriced and slow Uber. I’m shocked. Why should I abandon my personal, clean car to sit in the back of a disgusting Civic with a clueless driver and pay for it?

Can testify to this, my dad manages a small apartment building, he is always chasing off RVs stealing his water. He put locked boxes around all of the exterior faucets.

It is not the avoiding rent. That is fine if it is well kept and you are hard working- it is when you see Cousin Eddie’s shithole RV that is a rolling opium den that is the problem we are seeing around here.  Drugs and dumping their shit and piss on the roads.  

That is fine until they park right in front of your house.  

Homeless shelters don’t dump their sewage in the street...

Shitty run down campers are the new homeless camp here in Portland.  Anyone who thinks it is a great way to avoid paying rent go f-themselves.
