That’s why I rarely fill out any customer service ratings. Because the employees likely get dinged if they get anything less than 5 (because every single experience is supposed to be exceptional or some bullshit) but doing a competent job is not the same as exceptional. Fully satisfactory should not be a punishable

Same thing happened to me in Vegas, but because Uber is completely fucked in Vegas I was using a regular cab. I was staying on the goddamn strip and just wanted to go further down the strip (like 2 miles) and we ended up on the fucking interstate. Guy said he was avoiding the strip to “save time”. Took 25 minutes and

“Wanted a new route” is problematic. So many drivers take the most convoluted routes imaginable because they do not know the area. Perfect example: I had a driver pull off of a main boulevard to a side street, only to get right back on the main boulevard in almost the same place we got off in the same direction

For me it’s the flat side arch of the wheel wells of damn near every modern car. Why are there so many different cars from every manufacturer that have that design element? I really don’t get it.

Tesla could have at least made the interior to look like the price of the car. Volvo makes Scandinavian understated interiors on their cars, but they still look like something.

These horrible and counterintuitive design decisions affect us all. I don’t want to get hit by some Model 3 driver because he’s staring at this atrocious touchscreen for minutes at a time, trying to change the radio station or adjust the A/C vents. This fucking mess seems specifically designed to cause the maximum

I’d be inclined to argue looting frequently devolves into violence, (heck, dead body) and as such police SHOULD be notified.

The “s” is dumb, but the i3 is a legitimately cool car. Its manufacturing alone is cutting-edge, and its got great space utilization. You can also buy is with a flat-twin range extender! I’m very surprised this isn’t a Jalop-approved car.

For not too much more than $30k, I would think you could get a decent 997.

Are you shitting me? This, of all things, is what you would call unfair criticism? ifeellikeimtakingcrazypills.gif

It’s still worse than basically every other system which you can operate without looking away at all.

It’s telling that you interpret the wholely legitimate criticism of this UI and others similar to it as blind group think but see little issue with thinking something ‘futuristic’ like out of a concept car has to be better.

Every article. Every single article that shows the stupidity of Tesla you will defend it. It is getting kinda sad now man.

I normally like my cars to have as few gadgets as possible, but I really like automatic temperature control. Set it and forget it. Heck, in my 08 Outback it even automatically ran the defrost for a couple of minutes before resuming “normal” mode in the winter.

You are about 13 years late to be seeing them in high school parking lots everywhere.........

Haha it’s all good. I really only see a few Golfs running around from that VW era, but that’s rare.

This is San Francisco...not LA, where the city is only 47 square miles and tightly packed. P.S. It says SF multiple times in the article? Lol.

and up until 1948, it was racially segregated. That is, a few decades ago, Tina and Michael couldn’t buy a house on Presidio Terrace. Now they own it,

So if I rent a car from Hertz and it catches fire due to an open recall, that’s on me?

I’m pretty sure the drivers were leasing the cars from Uber.
