The boom mike had me dying.  I know a lot of people aren’t really into this season’s theme song, but I absolutely love it, both as an underline to the series’ entire premise (the situation IS a lot more complicated than that), and just because I’m now eagerly anticipating whatever increasingly batshit thing Deborah

Seriously...how was Cats the longest running Broadway show if I’ve never heard anyone say they liked it?

OK, Hot Take! I’m probably the only one thinking this (given I can’t see this mentioned in any other comment on here) but ... out of nowhere I think I now ship Daryl and Bert! At the end, each time they’d take a break from hugging to say something, I kept expecting a declaration of love from one to the other.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is always great, but this week it was really spectacular!”

Could you...not?

I both LOLed and “Ew!”ed multiple times this episode. It was amazing.

- Maya looking all doe-eyed at Father Brah. I feel you, girl!

Tonight’s Crazy Ex-Girlfriend transforms the story of a pair of non-breathable pants and the havoc they wreak on our heroine’s vagina into a top-notch parody of

Have to agree with Deathmaster. Working at Mountaintop seems like a lot of “emotional labor” being the unofficial child/bff/parent of your boss; also poor George (?) got fired so often, didn’t he? That must be terribly stressful. On the other hand, maybe having all that drama at work means watching less TV and getting

I would work at Mountaintop if it meant I could get away with almost never doing work or being in the office like they do.
Also, on the work subplot, it just kept delivering great George moments, like the fuchsia gloves and the moment when he ran off from mediation (“Why don’t you ask Mommy’s new boyfriend to buy you a

I loved how the boom operator visibly gave up and left the shoot when she uttered that line.

Also odd that their dynamic allowed them to overshare graphic bodily functions, but he drew the line at seeing the three exes outside. To quote Valencia, ‘We are very, very different people.”

A dose of Father Brah is always welcome. Maya cluelessly hitting on him was hilarious--and possibly the first time she’s been shown to flirt?

I’m glad it’s now socially acceptable to shit on Cats.

She’s back for the rest of the series... of holidays

I also gasped out loud when Rebecca described all the horrible stuff she was doing to her vagina.

When “I’m dating my uncle!” is the entry to your episode, it’s clear they’ve set the bar at a potentially disastrous height.  That they cleared it so thoroughly means that of all the shows that should NOT be leaving television, this is at the head of the list.  #OtherRebecca is the sharpest shiv in the kit of weapons

“I have a confession: you’re super cute.” Maya had a lot of good stuff this episode.

Poor Rebecca, she just wanted to get laid. Also Poor Nathanial and Greg, they just wanted to make new friends. Don’t care about Daryl and Bert’s conflict though. I think if I had either of them as a boss I probably would have quit long ago.
