Nope. Reviewer decided to make it political for some reason, when these are definitely not. Considering how much of the review he spends on his own political viewpoints that he’s overlaid onto the film, it’s affected his judgment of what the movie is supposed to be.

No, but he is hilarious in it. He even gets to “jim” the camera at a perfect moment.

Sweet fuck, I didn’t even see this because of the new front page. I’m like a reverse prophet.

“Sexy Donald Trump” is going to win worst 2017 costume.

Iggy must have really not liked this movie. Dudes is dropping spoilers left-and-right in this review.

I can’t believe I’m pulling this out of the greys, but... what? Like, really, what the hell are you talking about? I’m American and I literally watched the first one in the theater? Also planning on seeing this one, despite this review...

What is all the right-wing stuff about The Kingsman? Did I miss something?

“Vaughn caricatures politicians as cynical opportunists and the people who elect them as mindless mobs”

Now, as the Kingsmen are named after Arthurian legend, I’m super surprised that the Statesmen aren’t named after our apotheosed founders.

Yeah, I love Goldfinger because it sets up a very stupid plan (rob Fort Knox) but is actually a very clever plan (make all my gold reserves worth considerably more). Just because it involves various Bond set piece components like the bomb and planes doesn’t mean his plan doesn’t make sense, and it’s probably the

I don’t know...I find that his adaptations tend to be notably better than the source material.

Because a laser to the crotch is more poetic than a bullet to the head.

One of North Korea’s previous dictators actually did have a South Korean film maker he liked kidnapped and then forced him to make movies in the North.

“... whatever Auric Goldfinger was up to when he tried to irradiate Fort Knox.” I believe he was trying to (permanently?) remove all American gold reserves from circulation, thereby increasing the value of his own gold by an order of magnitude. I’ve always wondered whether the economics of such a scheme are sound,

I heard Tom Jones is being forced to play What’s New, Pussycat on repeat at the Salt and Pepper Diner. Truly horrifying stuff.

The Righ-Wing is not some homogeneous blob. Those “proto-Trump voters” have about as much in common with a British Tory as they do a garden snail.

Tom Jones, of course, being unavailable due to a previous billionaire-orchestrated kidnapping.

The “right-wing” stuff feels a bit hollow because the first movie ends with a bunch of rich bureaucrats’ heads exploding (followed quickly by sodomy).

Sure, this review makes the movie sound like trash, but on the other hand:

But, is anal sex provided as a reward for saving the world in this movie?
