No, Sony Columbia Pictures owned the rights to make Spider-Man movies indefinitely. Sony PlayStation is whole different department, they don’t have exclusive rights to the Spider-Man games, Activision held that rights until it expired on January 2, 2014.

How? Disney is all about profit maximization (and probably world domination), what did Sony offer to get them and Marvel to give Sony exclusive Spider-Man and Iron Man games instead of going multiplatform? This is insane.
