Listen, we dont want to see the Mets to be like the Angels with those horrific contracts that Pujols and Hamilton have..We had our own problem contract like Bonilla,Castillo, and Oliver Perez...However, their is no excuse for them to be so conservative and not at least be “in” on Heyward or other top free agents

How about it if the Wilpons payed off some of their debt by the revenues created by selling the team?
